Trends in Design
Let's look into mirrors
We are seeing a trend in framed mirrors, a beautiful accent to reflect your individual style. There is a popular interest in round mirrors for powder rooms and master ensuites which add curves in all the right places and softens the look of vanities. A nice idea about adding framed mirrors in your feature bathrooms is that they are removable and can be easily updated as interior design trends continue to evolve and change.
Have some fun with metallics, texture and size for mirrors, add a fantastic pendant light and back splash to create an interest piece that is unexpected.
Interior Paint Colours
Paint colours are constantly changing and each paint line announces their colour of the year. Here are 3 colours for 2020 by Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore and Behr. So, how do we add trending paint colours to our interiors without having to paint our walls every year?
Here are a few tips:
*Use the paint colour trends as an accent for a feature wall in bedrooms, powder rooms or feature walls in open spaces and great rooms. Choose a wall with easy access to set up a ladder and square, clean edges for trimming paint lines. This way, when you do have the urge to update the feature wall again to the next trendy colour, it is a fun afternoon project.
*Use the paint colour trends for inspiration with accessories like pillows, staging shelves and towels etc. A change is good for all of us and everything in moderation is a timeless approach to keep up with paint colour trends.
